Savanna Golf Championship Nears PGA TOUR Card Win By Sam Burns

To earn PGA TOUR card through Tour Sam Burns is one step closer. Burns is 21 year old in the final round of 7 under 65 to win Savanna Golf Championship.

Burns said “You can win anytime professional tour, but less than Tour and it’s always a nice feeling. He picked a prize of $99,000. As there are a lot of good competitors and no slacking off and he needed to play well and always put in the right position”.

In Portland, Burns is in the driver’s seat to earn 25 TOUR cards. Burns added, “He has lots of confidence to go forward and I am good enough to win and have confidence now.” Burns after opening the tournament battled to get contentious. Each round holds surprise so Tour rookie enjoys and not even a single day of a week will be affected.”

Burns said “each day is a new day and each round is a new round. It’s like some days are good and some days are bad. And where I stand to get hot for 54 holes and end the champion this week.”

First time winner of this season is Burns and the second one to receive a trophy of LSU golfer. Everything about Burns is extreme the way he talks to his fans, the way he approaches to the game and how he addresses the crowd while accepting the trophy. He is very humble and that’s why he received all the support in the tournament this week.

Burns also said “it’s incredible when he give his thoughts on first-year event and said volunteers did a great job and trying to make the event better and also getting better each year. Savannah will always hold a special place in my heart and this is really a special week.”
